A.I. vs. Natural Breeding

1. Units are based on
three services per conception as a default value.
2. Number of bulls are calculated with 40 cows per bull.
3. The yearly maintence takes into consideration the following
items: feed at $1.50/day, veterinarian bills $1/day, and a stall
fee of $7/day.
4. Final calculation is units used per year x (unit cost +
labor).
5. Final calculation is [(herd size/40) x intial purchase cost]
+ (yearly maintenance x number of bulls) - (slaughter value x
number of bulls).
6. The difference between Total A.I. Costs and Total Natural breeding costs.
