Preferred Stock value grows 13 percent
Increased revenues and profits help drive the Preferred Stock value. New product and service offerings have had a very positive effect on revenues, as well as providing more value to all of us at the farm. Since it’s inception at $10 a share, the value of NorthStar Preferred Stock has grown significantly. Today’s value of $23.25 reflects the increased strength and value of the Cooperative.
Stockowners approve bylaw resolutions
The NorthStar Cooperative annual meeting included voting on the approval and adoption of proposed amendments to the Cooperative’s bylaws, as well as a change in the minimum business level to maintain voting member status. Scholarship winners announced
Winners of the 2008 NorthStar Cooperative, Inc. Scholarships were recently announced. Lindsey First of Portland, Michigan, Chelsey Muenster of Seymour, Wisconsin and Stacey Choate of Cement City, Michigan are all recipients of $500 scholarships for continuing their education in the field of agriculture. Dairy producers earn top production honors
Eight dairy producers from Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin were recognized by NorthStar Cooperative DHI Services for their outstanding production records for the 2007 testing year.
