Annual Review
NorthStar Cooperative turned in record results for the year because of satisfied customers and stockowners who invested in the Cooperative’s products and services. As a result, the Cooperative was able to give back to customers and stockowners in various ways including a 50 percent cash payout of the common stock patronage which totaled more than $800,000. Stockowner annual meeting notice
The annual stockowner meeting of NorthStar Cooperative, Inc. will begin at 8:00 a.m. (EST) on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Muskegon Harbor in Muskegon, Michigan. Genomic evaluations were part of the January 2009 sire summaries, and like any new technology there have been many questions. Scholarship winners named
Brandon Gingrich of LeRoy, Michigan; Elizabeth Luedtke of Larsen, Wisconsin and James Weber of Vassar, Michigan were all selected to win a $500 scholarship through NorthStar Cooperative. Created in 2005, the NorthStar Cooperative Scholarship program is open to all stockowners and their children who are currently enrolled in post-high school study in the field of agriculture.
