Touchdown Dairy
Mark and Katrina Bontekoe of Marion, Michigan have been named NorthStar Cooperative’s 2008 Progressive Dairy Producer Award Winner. The award is presented to the producer whose herd shows the greatest increase in dollar value over the last five years. The Touchdown Dairy herd earned the award with a dollar value increase of $1,043. Today, the 146-cow Holstein herd boasts a rolling herd average of 25,515 pounds of milk, 935 pounds of fat, 792 pounds of protein and $4,841 dollar value. Click for more.

PCDART workshops planned
