0.5 ounce per head per day. It is composed of special L-form lactic bacteria,
saccharides, selected organic acids and vitamins.

“We had mold problems in the past and had started the herd on DTX to help with reproduction. The DTX really helped get the cows settled so when we began having trouble again a few years later we knew we must have a pretty serious mold problem. Feed tests confirmed extremely high levels of the mycotoxin vomitoxin so our NorthStar sales Representative Ed Nichols suggested doubling the microbial dose until we got through the bad batch of silage. Because the high levels of mycotoxins had also taken their toll on overall herd health, the cows were stressed, our somatic cell count (SCC) was up and we were seeing several cases of mastitis. We decided to add Bio Cycle Plus to the ration for added herd health benefits in addition to the DTX and within one month our cows started settling again, herd health began to steadily improve and as a result our SCC dropped and the mastitis began to clear up. We have since kept Bio Cycle Plus in the ration and haven’t had any further problems with reproduction, SCC or mastitis. Now that herd health is good again we might switch back to only DTX for protection against mycotoxins, but because we never know when we are going to hit a moldy batch of feed we can’t afford not to keep Bio Cycle Plus or DTX in the ration. A few of our neighbors have also had problems and we have recommended Bio Cycle Plus and DTX for mycotoxin problems. It is bad when you get into moldy feed but at least with these products you have a chance of protecting you’re herd’s health.”
