UTREsept is an organic intra uterine flush used to treat uterine infections
-
Anti-microbial action
-
Utresept’s anti-microbial power is due to a synergistic action created by a reaction between natural organic acids and natural sugars. When introduced into the uterus, these natural organic acids and sugars combine with those naturally present in the animal to create a powerful and lasting anti-microbial effect.

Standard treatment for uterine infections includes infusion with antibiotics and/or antiseptics such as iodine. Antiseptics have the advantage of not leaving residues in the meat or milk, however, many antiseptics are corrosive and can irritate the lining of the uterus and decrease natural uterine defenses against infection. Antibiotics, while effective, require milk withholding, which can be extremely costly and for this reason are not recommended as a preventative treatment.
