4XLA
The perfect pre- and post-dip... and a great conditioner, too! |
The addition of glycerin to this natural formulation makes 4XLA® the premier teat conditioning pre- and post-dip.
- Bacteria searching formulation kills bacteria - not teat skin and milkers' hands
- 15 to 20 second kill speed
-
4XLA is the perfect pre- and post dip
The speed of kill is important in pre-dipping. Where iodines can take up to one full minute to kill all mastitis-causing organisms on the teat, 4XLA kills in 15 seconds. With 4XLA, you won't have to stand around waiting for your pre-dip to do its job. Protocol tests show 4XLA is even effective against Staph. aureus in a pre-dipping routine. 4XLA is the only teat dip that can make this claim.

Producer Results with 4XLA
“We started noticing a lot of our cows had chapped, rough teat ends and decided to try 4XLA. After switching to 4XLA our cows no longer had peeling skin or problems with sore teats. We have been using 4XLA for a few years now it is just one part of our herd management program that has helped drop our somatic cell count at least 70,000. The thin coating that 4XLA provides is excellent for cold weather protection but doesn’t interfere with milk prep. The emollients in 4XLA help create healthier, softer teats and milking time is definitely more efficient. I would recommend 4XLA to other producers because it keeps the cows teats healthier and when our cows are more comfortable they definitely milk better.”

“We were having trouble with teat-end roughness and hyperkeratosis, and were also looking for a winter teat dip, so we decided to switch to 4XLA. Since starting with 4XLA as a post-dip, we have seen teat end improvement and our Somatic Cell Count has stayed under 200,000. This past summer we switched back to a barrier dip, but this summer we plan to continue using 4XLA. We would definitely recommend 4XLA for optimizing teat health.”
